i don't like to remember such prehistoric days.
A thing that bothers me way more than they should: How idiotic people who actually pronounce "Cap'n" as "cap'n" sound. It's shorthand to fit on a cereal box, for heaven's sake!
than IT should. Darn.
I have only two places to turn on this matter: the box and commercials, both of which clearly indicate that "Cap'n" is Horatio Magellan Crunch's canonical title.
Moreover, the box is not small enough to require abbreviated spellings. If it was, how could you explain "Christmas Crunch," "Oops! All Berries" or "Cap'n Crunch's Mystery Volcano Crunch?"

Kinda makes you wonder what Lil' Bo Peep feels about the whole freakin' subject?
