A friend of mine thinks there is more to say, and I'm all for dissenting opinions: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122584386627599251.html

To those of you who are telling me that we'll see what things are like in four years, might I suggest a bit of reflection on the last eight.

I've made no claims that Obama will save the world. I'm honestly pretty reserved in my hopes and expectations. I'm glad you guys are critical of him - I am, too. I'll be keeping a close on him the whole time, and if he screws up, I won't hesitate to point it out. I'm not holding him to a different standard than Bush.

Bush had his chance to impress me, and he blew it. Maybe history will view him differently, but at this moment, I'm glad to see the treacherous moron step down, and so are the majority of Americans, as well as countless people abroad.

Maybe I'll feel the same way at the end of Obama's term. Let's hope not, but we'll see. No one can predict what will happen over the next four years, but the past eight have already happened. I've lived through it all. Take whatever side you want. I can only speak for myself, and I say good riddance.

And Barack: Be careful. We're watching.

wow, 2 comments from yourself which are longer than the original post.

Oh, don't even pretend you're surprised.

I've been e-mailing people about this business today and getting a lot of flak, though, so I re-thought my original stance of "this is unquestionably great."

For those of you eager to see the negative effects of Obama's election, or for the supporters who need to be reminded that not everything that comes from this will be good, I present you with something ridiculous.

Wow, forget that last video; this one is soooooo much better.

And let's not forget that the inauguration is not the only thing in the news today. Here's something from the front page of CNN.com that I'm sure will matter to all of you.

jake, jake. these comments you are making on your own posts are called BLOGS. hahahaha. and if there is blogging etiquette i'm pretty sure i've fucked that up too. i used to respond to comments on my own post but realized that means i'm expecting people to come back and read old posts so i thought it would probably better to go to that person's blog and let them know i am replying to their comment on mine.

Don't let 'em bring you down!

I, like everyone else, have no clue what happens next and I'm still THRILLLLLLLED.

Hey, nah, relax - I still have half an hour.

Oh, wait... is that paper I have to write due today or Friday...? I might be phoning this one in. The blog, not the paper.

Or maybe both.

Awesome. I didn't write down the due date and I can't get into the Web site where all my assignments are given.
