The site where my teacher posts homework assignments...
The file that opens when you click the "ASSIGNMENT 8" link...

Boy, do I have egg on my face! I can't believe I fell for that one! As you can clearly see from the pictures above, I didn't have to paint 2 paintings per page on 20 pages in a sketchbook, nor did I have to do a "Box still life." Ha, ha, I sure feel stupid. Good one, art teacher - ya got me!

I feel especially dumb because I was apparently the only one who fell for this hilarious joke.

I'm not sure how easy it is to understand what I'm saying, so here's an explanation in case you didn't get it.

On the Web site where assignments are posted for my art class, it says very clearly that I was supposed to paint forty pictures over the last week in a sketchbook, in addition to some other homework. What it doesn't say is that this is a big lie.

If you look at the pictures I took from the site, I really don't see any other way you could interpret this, but I showed up in class today with a few pages (I gave up after, like, four hours) only to find that no one else even knew about this assignment. The teacher didn't say a word about it. He went over the homework that's due next week - again, nothing about the sketchbook or the box still life. Weird. I asked someone about it, but he had no idea what I was talking about.

At least I didn't bother to finish.
